Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just brought an HP 240 bluetooth mouse.  It will not pair with my Samsung laptop which is running Windows 10 but is an old machine (~2012).   It will pair with my Samsung phone.   I have done everything in the HP support troubleshooting web page up to and including deleting Bluetooth and having it reloaded.   Still no change.  Any ideas?    Thanks.  Peter

Doe your Samsung machine have Bluetooth ?
