Product: hp pavillion x350 convertible

My laptop does not connect to wifi without me using the trouble shooting application.  Sometimes it takes 10-15 tries to get it to connect. I have finally noticed that it seems to be trying to connect to the printer. I have a HP officejet pro 6830.  The same thing happens occasionally with my desktop computer but which is also connecting wirelessly it is a Dell.
