Hello there

I have my laptop as named above since sep.2017 and many times had/still have two big issues which are well known by this product`s owner

1. the fan error on-screen overheating, which I have always must press enter to continue otherwise switch off.

2. The battery 0%available(plugged in)

I must say I had the highest expectation from HP quality and now I am frankly speaking very PISSED off from such **bleep**TY issue.

I read in net and is almost 99,9% the same challenge as every other owner of the same product has.

Since the guaranty covering is over, I must fix it I have no available fund to buy a new laptop, so I open my back cover (guidance from HP service instructor) and read the part number.

As I see is written: replace with  HP spare: 902499-855

So I put this number by HP part numbers but can not find and on the Internet, they are few available but I do not trust the others(if original or not) and am very desperate.

At the moment I am using the charging cable but it is very inconvenient to use.

can please any of you help me to solve this issue? maybe also some help with the fan, they are many suggestions but non-useful as I tried.

awaiting your feedback and stay with;

Friendly Regards.

John

hello there

Yesterday I spend more than 4,5 hours to follow all your instructions in all different possible ways but unfortunately without any success.

I am desperate and like to ask some HP technician who can open a live chat with me and go the procedure step by step to manage this challenge.

I am a registered HP owner and all my data are available.

I download the HP assistant diagnostic software and go step by step but the only result I had was that my battery must be changed immediately! why use the word "immediately" I don`t know anyhow as I was logged in my laptop data was known but as I was going on through the suggested functions to make a total diagnostic of my device, I got an error that the agent can not find my device!

To find my device I had to put in my device Sn. No. so do you want me to dismantle the laptop to find the number? it would be very strange to me!

I made screenshots of all steps I could send but they are many so I am sure your IT specialist are able to make few moves to manage this and I am not an IT specialist.

I would be happy and thankful if you could help me to fix this since I am hanging on my data & the usage of my laptop daily.

Please advise me on the next smart move and your suggestions for a live chat.

Best Regards

John Robertsen

PS: I can try to find my laptop data and send it to you to identify the exact device I have if necessary.
