I have done a lot of trouble shooting and system checks and everything seems to have passed and there were no flags on any system tests. I don’t know why i suddenly can’t see any WiFi on my WiFi list. The only thing I’m able to see is my hotspot when I share it from my phone. I’ve gone through HP’s website to install the driver available and still nothing.

Bios shows “!Network adaptor”, I am running on Windows 11 25H2 but the only ones showing on the Hp website is the 21H2 and 22H2. Not sure if this is relevant but since my laptop is able to detect my hotspot when it’s on I don’t think the internal WiFi card is disconnected…

I understand your HP Envy x360 is not showing any Wi-Fi networks, except for your mobile hotspot, even after reinstalling drivers and running system diagnostics that showed no issues. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

 
a. Power and Network Reset

Shut down your laptop.

Unplug the power adapter and wait for 30 seconds.

Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to drain residual power.

Restart your router and wait until all lights stabilize.

Turn the laptop back on and check if Wi-Fi networks appear.

 
b. Verify the Wireless Adapter in Device Manager

Press Windows + X → Device Manager → Network adapters.

Check if your Intel or Realtek Wireless Adapter is listed.

If you see a yellow exclamation mark, right-click and select Update driver → Search automatically for drivers.

If the adapter isn’t listed, click View → Show hidden devices.

If it still doesn’t appear, it might be disabled in BIOS or physically disconnected.

 
c. Enable WLAN AutoConfig Service

Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Scroll to WLAN AutoConfig.

Ensure the Startup type is set to Automatic and the service Status is “Running.”

If not, right-click it → Properties → Start → click Apply.

 
d. Reset Network Settings

Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings → Network reset.

Click Reset now, then restart your laptop.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi once the reset is complete.

 
e. Check BIOS Wireless Settings

Restart the laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then select F10 for BIOS setup.

Go to System Configuration → Built-in Device Options.

Ensure Internal WLAN is enabled.

If BIOS shows “!Network Adapter”, it can mean the system isn’t detecting the card properly—possibly a loose connection or firmware mismatch.
