My laptop is not showing available wifi networks and if i turn on my mobile hotspot it connects but shows very weak signal

It has wireless adapter which supports 2.4GHz networks only. Please allow your wifi router to broadcast dual bands (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz), it will see 2.4GHz network and you and connect.
