My laptop will not connect to my HP mobile printer. The printer is an HP Officejet 200 Mobile Printer, and I have sucessfully printed to the device before. It stopped working two weeks ago and I have tried many options to get it working again, to no avail. I have uninstalled and re-installed drivers, unplugged the printer and removed the battery, and restarted the laptop. Nothing has worked. The HP online support does not seem to have the specific answers I need.

There is a few things I have seen that can cause a wireless printer to stop printing.

1) ink levels.  Check just to make sure.  If it looks extremely low, that may be a possibility.

2) incorrect network info.  There's a few things to do.  I'd start by printing a network configuration page from the lcd screen of the printer. Go to settings and network info.  There are four impiimportant pieces of info.  Default gateway, subnet mask, ip address and network name.  The IP address SHOULD start with 10 or 192. Verify the correct network name.  On your pcPverify the network info for your printer matches that listed on that sheet.  If it doesn't then it needs to be reinstalled on your computer.

The majority of the time in my experience with wireless printing the problem lies somewhere in the second one.  Either the printer is connecting to the wrong network or the set up has gone sideways.  Keep me updated and i will see what I can do to help.

Another thing that stopped my Epson SX445E WiFi printer was a new Virgin Hub 3.  This has 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi channels and for some unknown reason 5GHz interfered with the (adjacent) printer.  I turned 5GHz off in the Hub 3 admin page and the printer started working.  It was then bothering me that my new Pavillion x360 Laptop might loose some speed or connectivity by not using 5GHz WiFi, but after some Google research I believe it makes no difference.
