My laptop will not connect to the internet,even with direct ethernet wire

I spoke with Spectrum, all our wifi gadgets(phones,etc) are connecting to our wifi, however, our laptop will not, they told us to contact HP for help

Please tell me the full product name and product number (p/n) of your notebook. You will find this information on the back of your notebook printed in small letters.
