My new laptops warranty period already 4months used which i bought few days before from amazon

I bought my pavilion a few days ago from Amazon with 1year of onsite warranty. But when i check my warranty status i was shocked that my warranty was already used before 4 months. I have only remained with 8 months of warranty. I need you to resolve my problem.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

(A) You will need (1) invoice as proof and (2) serial number (s/n) of your computer if it has never been registered at HP before. You may only give this information to HP support, do not make it public.

(B) Check Warranty date !

The warranty date given online is often incorrect (it usually starts with the date of manufacture!).

The warranty starts with the date of purchase (invoice) !
