Hi @sydneygrac3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

1. Check Airplane Mode & Wi-Fi Toggle:

Press Windows + A, ensure Airplane Mode is off, and try reconnecting to Wi-Fi.

2. Restart Network Services:

Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Right-click and restart these services: WLAN AutoConfig, DHCP Client, Network Connections.

3. Update Wi-Fi Drivers:

Press Windows + X, select Device Manager.

Expand Network Adapters, right-click Wi-Fi adapter, choose Update Driver → Search automatically.

4. Reset Network Settings:

Open Command Prompt (Admin).

Type and run these commands:

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

Restart your laptop.

5. Enable Your Wi-Fi Adapter:

Press Windows + R, type ncpa.cpl, and hit Enter.

Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and select Enable if it’s disabled.

6. Forget & Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

Open Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.

Click Manage known networks, select your Wi-Fi, and click Forget.

Reconnect by entering your Wi-Fi password.

7. Check Router Compatibility & Frequency:

Ensure your router supports 2.4GHz if your laptop doesn't support 5GHz.

Restart your router and check if other devices can connect.

8. Perform a Network Reset:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.

Scroll down, click Network Reset → Reset Now, and restart your laptop.

Try these steps and let me know what happens! 😊
