Product Name: Hp15 ac034tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My laptop is inable to connect to internet via its own network card. The WiFi connects but shows no internet while im able to access the internet using a WiFi dongle. I have updated the drivers and even deleted and reinstalled the drivers but still issue didn't get resolved. The laptops own wifi is showing the networks just unable to get the internet and shows an error sign exclamation on the WiFi signal for the laptops wifi card while connects fine using the dongle

Hey there!

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!

I understand that you have a wireless issue with your laptop.

Try few steps mentioned below.

Go to windows desktop screen

Hold windows logo key + Letter R key.

Run dialog box would pop up.

Type c:\temp.

A temp folder window would pop up.

Here you have to delete all the files/folders that present in this temp folder.

Now, disconnect the internet connection.

Restart your PC and connect to your network again.

If you still have the wireless issue disable firewall and disable antivirus and check again.

And also try the steps mentioned below.

Click start type CMD in the search box.

Right click the command prompt box and select run as administrator.

Then type the following commands.

"ipconfig /release" hit enter key  (without quotes)

"ipconfig /renew"" hit enter key enter (without quotes)

"ipconfig /flusdns" hit enter key enter (without quotes)

Let me know if this works.

Have a great day!

Re: My wifi network card is unable to connect to internet

the problem got solved . assigned an static ip (192.168.1.100) to my laptops mac address on the router. somehow the laptop won't connect on any other automatically assigned ip due to an dhcp error.
but the problem still persists on other ips. if you can help and i would like to know why this is happening.

thanks.
