My HP laptop has been working fine for about two years and this problem started about a year ago. The wifi would be working just fine and then all things requiring wifi stop functioning. It isn't like a slow connnection where I have to wait a bit for it to load but an infinite stop to my laptops wifi. During this time my laptop doesn't freeze and I can navigate the menus just fine however all things requiring wifi (like my browser, games, quick search)  don't work. To fix temporarily however I have to disconnect and reconnect to my wifi. My laptop lies about two meters away from my modem that has unlimited broadband and has strong connection so I know this problem is not caused by bad connection. I have also recently reset my laptop which also hasn't worked. Could somebody help me solve this problem? If so I will be highly grateful as I am using this laptop for highschool and it would help me out a lot, thanks in advance.
