HP Stream Laptop 14-ax0XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I’ve gone to HP’s website, downloaded all three drivers for this computer, yet I still can’t connect to the WiFi. Then when I go into Device Manager, it says under Other Devices; Network Controller, PCI Data Acquistion and Signal Processing Controller, PCI Device, PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller, SM Bus Controller, Unknown Device, Unknown Device, Unknown Device. It says that they are missing or uninstalled. I don’t know what to do anymore

Hi:

Here are some of the drivers you need...

SM Bus Controller:  Install this driver first and restart the PC.

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88501-89000/sp88829.exe

PCI Data Acquistion and Signal Processing Controller, and one of the Unknown Devices:

This package contains the driver that enables the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp83501-84000/sp83928.exe

PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller:

This package provides the Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface (TXE) Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp83501-84000/sp83927.exe

PCI Device:

This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek Card Reader

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88501-89000/sp88828.exe

I will need you to provide the hardware ID's from the Network Controller (wifi adapter) and the 2 remaining Unknown Devices after you install the above drivers.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...
