Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a few questions actually.

1.)  Will my laptop work with a 5mhz adapter or card?

2.) Is it best to buy an upgraded internal card or an external 5mhz adapter?

      - What internal one would be best if thats whats required?

Your machine was built around 2014 therefore due to the whitelist in BIOS therefore very hard (or no chance) to upgrade wifi card to current dual bands wifi card. But machine has 2 antennas and supports following cards

  • Broadcom BCM 4352 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter (with dual antennas) part # 724935-005 - for AMD CPU
  • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.0 combo adapter (with dual antennas) part # 710662-005 - For Intel CPU

Hope this helps
