Hi:

There is no wifi adapter listed in your screenshot, so the wifi card has either failed completley, or needs to be removed and reseated.

You need these drivers for the devices in your screenshot...

Ethernet Controller:

This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

PCI Device:

This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek Card Reader in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The card reader enables users to read from or write to supported removable storage cards, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players, and cellular phones.

Before removing and reseating the wifi adapter, see if installing the HP connection manager software, restarting the PC and using the software allows you to turn on the wifi adapter.

This package provides the HP Connection Manager for the supportednotebook models and operating systems.

If not, remove and reseat the wifi adapter.  Try and leave the antenna cables connected to the card when you do this.

Below is the link to the service manual.  The wifi card R & R procedures can be found in chapter 4.

If you get the wifi card to show up in the device manager,  you need this driver for it.

This package provides the driver to support the Atheros Wireless LAN adapter in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

If you need to replace the card because all of the troubleshooting steps did not work, you need to replace it with the same card.

HP Part number 655795-001 --  WLAN 802.11bgn+BT Maryann AR5B225

You will be able to find these wifi adapters cheap and plentiful on eBay.

You must get the card with the HP part number on it, or it will not work. Buy a card where you see the picture of the actual card for sale with the HP part number on it.
