Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello! One day my trusty HP Zbook 14 with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit decided to lose its network controller driver. I tried every System Restore option available but all system restore points failed to take. I tried clicking "Update Driver Software" and "Scan for hardware changes" on the Network Controller from Device Manager and both failed.

 

Can you tell me what Network Controller driver I need to download, put on a USB key, and then transfer to my Zbook to fix the problem? I need my wireless back as I don't have Ethernet cables floating around my living room...

Go to your specific zBook's support page, download and install the Intel wifi driver.

I'll give it a shot. It's hard to tell which of the drivers is the right one... I'll try the 2018 Wireless LAN Drivers first.

It's alive! Network came back after a slow installation w/ no progress bar (trust was required). I was able to select my wireless network after that, reauthenticate, et voila! I'm online! :generic:

 

The SP92648.exe did the job in my case (Intel Wireless LAN Drivers 19.10.14.1 Rev.P 252.9 MB Nov 13, 2018).
