Hi,

I purchased HP Pavillion 15n 034ca laptop and it supports only 2.4GHz. I want to upgrade my laptop's network card so that it can support dual mode.

Can you please suggest which cards are compatible with my laptop so that i can replace it with that and which can be ordered from Amazon.

Hi:

 

I believe that your notebook has two antenna cables connected to the wifi card it has now, but you may want to open it up and confirm before upgrading to this wifi card, which requires 2 antenna cables to function properly...

 

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

 

You should be able to find the card on Amazon or eBay.ca.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Thank you very much for your reply. I have ordered the following from amazon and hope it works with my laptop and i should be able to connect with 5GHz signal.

It shows a different HP SPS number in the picture, but that one should also work fine.
