Normally it sees some networks around including neighbors and ask you to select yours. Please bypass this step and check again after completion at the end.
At the end, your machine does not have wifi but it still have wifi icon (actually a globe) at the bottom right corner. Now right click it and run Trouble shoot to see what is the reason.
