No Networks show up

HP Recommended

Hello, I have a HP Notebook - 14s-cf0117tu that I purchased 9 months ago and It sometimes boots and can't find any networks. When I turn it on, it says there are no wifi networks available bu I can clearly see them from my phone and sometimes they do show. I have opened the troubleshooter and gone through the troubleshooting process but it always just ends up telling me that I need to plug in an ethernet cable. I also do not have microsoft store on it and I have tried to install it but nothing has worked so far.

@Leon05 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that no Networks show up.

Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped others: Click here
I have a few steps to resolve the issue:

  • Since you've already reinstalled drivers, I would recommend using an Ethernet cable (Wired) and update your Wi-Fi drivers using this link

  • Update the bios by visiting this link or through support assistant using an Ethernet cable.

  • Now try to connect to the internet wireless.

The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
