It's not under device manager but there are quite a few question marks alongside OTHER Devices including PCI Data Acquisition,PCI Device and Unknown Device have yellow warning. Bluetooth works but no signs of WiFi I have downloaded all drivers for this machine listed to no avail please can someone help Regards Glenn

Hi:

It seems to me that your notebook's Wi-Fi adapter may have a hardware issue because Windows should have automatically installed the driver for the Intel Wi-Fi adapter the specs indicate it comes with.

The wifi adapter should be listed in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category.

If the Wi-Fi adapter needed a driver, there would be a Network Controller listed in that 'Other devices' category in the device manager.

You probably need this driver for the PCI Data Acquisition and Unknown device:

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver

The PCI device would need this driver:

Realtek Card Reader Driver

Thank you Paul for your help which certainly helped in all ways as I checked the WiFi card which seems to have blown up or something so I'll have to find that part somewhere Regards Glenn
