No available wifi connections

HP Stream Notebook PC 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When I pull up the Networks tab, there are no connections available. I am suppose to have a list that my wifi as well as surrounding wifi and nothing is showing up. My laptop is not in airplane mode so I do not know what it could be.

Hi

First disable airplane mode

  1. Press Windows key on the keyboard
  2. Click on Settings window
  3. Go to Network icon
  4. Choose Network & Internet category.
  5. The second setting on the left column is Airplane mode.
  6. Turn it Off

Restart your computer

Run HP network diagnostics test

Look for HP Support Assistant

First Method:

1.  Look at the lower right corner then look for a question mark with a blue circle

2. Click My PC then click Internet and Security.

3. Scroll down a bit and look for HP Network Check

4. Run a test then hit next. If you see any prompts like apply fix then click it.

Second Method:

1. Press Windows key on the keyboard

2. Type HP Support Assistant

3. Follow the first Method
