11/19/20. Hello, Community: Connecting to wireless internet stopped.  TROUBLE SHOOTING REPORT: After trouble shooting many times ended w/this msg: "The Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter adapter is experiencing driver - or hardware- problems." - Not fixed; Also, "The wireless network adapter is experiencing problems." - "Contact your administrator to resolve driver or hardware issues.";   Realtek Version: 2024.0.10,106; Section name: HP8821ce.ndi;  Hardware ID: pci\ven_10ec&dev_c821&subsys_831a103c ; COMPUTER NAME: LAPTOP-JFO4RQ64  

I am minimally computer savvy. Can y'all help w/clear, detailed directions to solve or do I go to a local "fixit" company.

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest wifi driver for that model wifi adapter.

If you can't connect to the internet from your PC, download the above driver file from another PC, copy it to a USB flash drive, plug the flash drive into your 15-Dy1731ms' USB port, then double click to run the driver.

 

Hopefully the updated driver will fix the issues you are having.
