No wi-fi - Intel Advanced-N 6235 on Envy M4-1115dx

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having exactly the same issue with a similar laptop as described in the posted here:


Envy M4-1115dx: BIOS ver Insyde F.18

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235:

Windows 10: ver 1909


The response closed stating a private message sent to the OP. Please suggest what should I do?

@Crazylife Have you upgraded your wireless card as well, just as mentioned in the post you've linked? If yes, I must let you know that HP does not recommend upgrades or hardware changes as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance by design, that said, the upgradeable parts listed by HP articles are purely for your ease, as the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion and you may want to contact the local store/tech you got the card from for further diagnosing the issue.
