Hi, I run Windows 11 on my HP laptop 15-ef202ca. Working fine until I tried using tp-link Bluettoth 5.3 nano USB adapter. Siddenly I have no wifi services and I don't see any devices supporting wifi services anymore, not even the possibility to add one. What can I do?

@ARic19, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Here are steps to troubleshoot and resolve Wi-Fi issues on your HP laptop:

1. Check Wi-Fi Toggle

  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi is turned on. You can typically find the Wi-Fi toggle in the taskbar or in the settings under Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.

2. Device Manager

  • Open Device Manager and check if the Wi-Fi adapter is listed. You can find Device Manager by searching for "Device Manager" in the Windows search bar.
  • If the Wi-Fi adapter is disabled, enable it.
  • If there is an exclamation mark or error, right-click it and select "Update Driver".

3. Network and Internet Settings

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click "Network Troubleshooter" and follow the instructions. Windows will attempt to detect the problem and suggest fixes.

4. Reinstall Wi-Fi Driver

  • In Device Manager, locate your Wi-Fi adapter under "Network adapters."
  • Right-click and select "Uninstall Device."
  • Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the Wi-Fi driver.

5. Restore Network Settings

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset.
  • Click "Reset now." This will reset all network settings to default and can sometimes resolve complex network issues.

6. Check for Conflicts

  • Disconnect the TP-Link Bluetooth 5.3 nano USB adapter temporarily and restart your laptop to see if the Wi-Fi services return.

7. Update Windows

  • Ensure your Windows is updated. Sometimes, updates provide fixes for connectivity issues.
