HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-eb1000 (3N389AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using the RJ-45 Ethernet socket on an Orifa 12-port MST USB-C hub only yields a performance of 100 Mbps using Ookla Speedtest application. The package of the hub indicates "RJ 45 10/100/1000 mbps Ethernet."

The same cable (to optical Internet connection) connected to an inboard Ethernet on another laptop is tested at a performance compatible with 1,000 Mbps.

What is wrong? What can I do to enhance Ethernet performance to gigabit?
