Not certain if anyone can assist, however I have an older HP Pavilion Desktop that still works great, however I cannot (or don't know how) to connect to our new 5G internet.  I'm used to the new systems where they automatically search for the networks and you just click and add a password.  Is there a fix or update that I can do to have my computer find and add the new network?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!!

Hi:

If your PC is old, most likely it only has a single band (2.4 GHz only) Wi-Fi adapter that does not work on the 5.0 GHz wireless band.

If you let me know what model Wi-Fi adapter your PC comes with, I will confirm if that is the case or not.
