Hi, @User20220816
Unfortunately, there is no W10 driver for the Intel Wi-Fi Link 1000 Wi-Fi adapter.
I was able to find a Windows 8.1 driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog website you can try to install and hope it works on W10.
You want the 5th one down on the list.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted:
[Manufacturer]
%COMPANY_NAME% = Device, NTamd64.6.0
;[ControlFlags]
;ExcludeFromSelect = \
; PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0084&SUBSYS_12158086 , \
; PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0084&SUBSYS_12168086 , \
; PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0084&SUBSYS_13158086 , \
; PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0084&SUBSYS_13168086 , \
If that driver doesn't work, you will most likely have to use a USB Wi-Fi adapter in order to remain on W10.
Due to the age of your notebook, it has a BIOS whitelist which prevents you from installing a different model internal Wi-Fi card.
