Pavillion 360
Linux

Hi, new member, this is my first question. I just got a Pavillion 360 with Windows 10. I want to dual boot with Linux (Zorin, elementary or Mint). When I run the live version of these systems from a USB drive, there is no wireless. Nothing recognized. I have seen where this seems to be an Ubuntu bug (all three systems are based on Ubuntu).

The driver is:

  • Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter

Is there to your knowledge any hope of doing this, or will this machine simply not work with Linux? I could try a non-Ubuntu-based distro to see if there's any difference, but as the problem appears to be with the Linux kernel itself, I don't have much hope this would work either.

Thanks, Mike
