Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I would like to upgrade the rtl8723be wifi card on my pavilion 17-f126nf Notebook with AMD A4-6210 CPU.

I read some issues with Intel wifi card and AMD CPU and/or white list problem.

Is it possible to put à 7260AC or even an AX210 wifi card ? Or maybe an Atheros WCN6856 ?

Regards

Hi:

The problem with upgrading the Wi-Fi card in your notebook is that it most likely has only one Wi-Fi antenna wire because that is all the Realtek RTL8723BE card needs to operate.

Intel cards most likely won't work in a notebook with an AMD processor, but this card should, however, it needs two antenna wires for both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to function properly:

Thank you Paul,

I'm surprised that HP installs only one antenna. A have already had many Dell notebook and they always have 2 antennas, and even antennas for broadband even whithout having the option.

So I've got a few in stock that could come in handy !

Unfortunately, 724935-005 is not easy to find at a lower price with delivery in France.

724935-001 found. Wating for delivery.

You're very welcome.

Yes, that is why I recommended this part number which was more readily available than 724935-005.

It should work just as well.
