Pavillion laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Pavillion laptop does not see any wireless connections.  I've tried all the troubleshooting options but cannot get it to work.  Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Give the full version of windows
for windows 10 type winver in the search box

the computer is it new, recent ...
Have you performed an upgrade (windows 7, windows 10 for example) or a simple update
Is the wifi card correctly installed in the device manager ??
Give as much information as possible that can help

Thank you for your response.  To answer your questions:

My laptop is an HP Pavillion Notebook;

System ID: 820B;

Product ID: H7Q97UA#ABA

I purchased it about 3 years ago.

It came with Windows 10, 64 bit

Wifi card is correctly installed

Additional info:  I ran HP's System Tests and the laptop failed the Wireless IRQ test.

Sorry - I just noticed that it also failed the Wireless ROM test.

can you check the reference, it seems not to match a model

But if the card is out of order, your best bet will be to buy a usb wifi dongle!

Additional info:  I tried an external network adapter and the laptop didn't recognize it.  The same error message appeared.
