HP Pavilion 14-n266tx Notebook PC

Hello team,

Please, can WiFi 6 AX dual band and Bluetooth card work on HP Pavilion 14-n266tx Notebook?

The current card is 2.4 ghz. So, I want to upgrade the card for a better one.

Can anyone suggest a better dual band WiFi and Bluetooth card that can work with the laptop without compatibility problems?

Thank you as I await your responses.

Sheu

Hi:

Since your notebook has the older style HMC form factor Wi-Fi card, you would have to find a specially made Wi-Fi 6 card that will fit in the slot.

Something like this...

Amazon.com: NETELY 802.11AX WiFi 6 AX200HMW 3000Mbps Mini-PCIE Interface WiFi Adapter with Bluetooth...

Otherwise, either of these dual band AC cards should also work:

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo   HP Part # 724935-001

Dear Paul_Tikkanen,

Thanks for the response. I will check the links you suggested and revert.

I am confused because I read about whitelist, which may affect the card compatibility even if the card slot matches the new card.

You're very welcome.

The 14-n model series should not have a BIOS whitelist.

Ok great. I will try.

Thank you very much.

Glad to have been of assistance.

Please post back and let us know how your notebook's Wi-Fi card upgrade project went.
