I can confirm the laptop takes 2 2.5 inch drives and one can be a 2.5 inch SSD like a Samsung Evo 850 model.

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-75E250B-AM/dp/B00OAJ412U/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronic...

Everything you need other than the SSD itself can be found at newmodeus.com

Here is the instruction video for the installation of a second drive. Put the SSD in the primary bay and the original HDD in the second bay and then you can clone very easily.

Needed caddy and cable:

I used to have a laptop from this model series so thoroughly familiar with what you can do with it.

Manual

Has no whitelist so you can install any wireless card you wish of the mini-pcie form factor. The best is going to be an Intel wireless-ac 7260 like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Intel-7260-HMWG-R-Wireless-AC-Network-adapter/dp/B00MV3N7UO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF...

See p. 52 of the Manual for "how to". Before you do the wireless swap be sure to uninstall the old module and remove all drivers. Windows should pick up the Intel module but if not drivers are available at the Intel site.
