HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0011tx

Hi,
I would like to upgrade from the current card Intel AC9560 to wifi 6.
Is this laptop compatible with any wifi 6 card module? If yes, which card (ax210, 211, 201)?
I read somewhere that intel 9th gen coffee lake is with CNVI interface. Not sure if this should be part of the consideration for replacement card such as CNVIO2.

Many thanks.

Mark

Hi, Mark:

I would not try to install a different model CNVI card in your notebook.

That usually never turns out well.

I'd go with a standard card such as one of these:

Wi-Fi 6:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part #L35282-005

Wi-Fi 6E:

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # M27269-005

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:
