I used the printer with a wifi connnection at first. I no longer have that connection, and am now trying to print documents from my iphone the same phone i used before i moved. the printer wireless light only flashes and wont connect. my hotspot is on. I connected my laptop to my phone hotspot and attempted to connect to printer that way and i keep getting error code printer can not be found, printer offline.

Welcome to the HP Community --
HotSpot connection might not be providing the resource necessary to maintain both connections.
What?
Hotspot is not provided by your local network, super-duper router, and high-speed Internet connection.
Some mobile Data providers object to too much (heavy) data load or perhaps the provider dislikes (does not want to support) resource loads that last longer than a brief amount of time.
Much of what you can do depends on your device, your data plan, signal strength, other active resources (chat, texting, shopping).
The connection might be weak, busy, slow...
What to do?
Some printers support a direct Wireless connection between the printer and the device (computer, tablet, phone).
This type of connection does not require a router - the connection uses the printer's wireless radio and the wireless radio on your device (computer, tablet, phone).
