Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello All,
after installation of Windows 10 Home I don't see Bluetooth in Device Manager.
I tried to find Bluetooth drivers for system Windows 10 Home but I can't find them anywhere.

I'm kindly asking you for help with this issue.

Hi:

Most HP notebooks back then did not come with bluetooth.

If you are 100% sure yours did, then it must have been turned off when you upgraded to W10 with the HP wireless assistant or HP connection manager software.

See if you can turn the bluetooth back on by making a bootable Ubuntu installer.

Boot from the installer and select the option to 'Try Ubuntu without installing.'

Turn the bluetooth on in Ubuntu.  Shut down the PC, remove the installer, turn on the PC, and the bluetooth should now be showing up in the device manager.

Tutorial for how to make the bootable installer...see the information under the 'On Windows' section.

Hello Paul,

I just performed all things from your recommendations.
Unfortunately I couldn't turn on bluetooth no way.

I thought that maybe bluetooth module is not physically in the laptop.
I decided to check it out.
I opened the laptop and found bluetooth modul:
Brodcam BCM92045NMD
FCCID:QDS-BRCM1018
IC:4324A-BRCM1018
In device manager I found some bluetooth drivers bute were hidden and they are grayed out:

It seems to me that this bluetooth module may not be out -of-order.
Still I'm trying to find drivers but unfortunately I fail.

Hi:

Yes, your notebook has the HP integrated BT module and W10 should have automatically installed a driver for that.

I have 3 HP business class notebooks (nc6400, 6910p, 6930p) with the same bluetooth module, and W10 automatically detected the device and installed the driver.

They actually work too.  I was shocked.

Try uninstalling the devices and drivers that are in light shade and restarting the notebook.

Hello,
drivers have been removed, laptop restarted.
Now no devices is available in Device Manager 😞

There is the W7 driver you can try, but I doubt that will work.

I don't understand why W10 didn't automatically install the bluetooth driver.

Windows 10 does not allow me to install this driver -version difference
