Pavilion 15-cx0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my wifi adapter is constantly losing the signal.

I have pavilion  15 cx0xx, the WiFi adapter inside is "Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac PCIe" ,my other laptop and phone work fine because I have fast connection, so it's not the modem fault.

I tried solutions like updating the drivers and reinstalling but it still loses the WiFi signal after every few minutes.

Hi

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-15-cx0000-laptop-pc/20284020/model/23205965?...

AND this is the driver you tried    sp92695.exe

The Laptop may connect and have a profile.

So the cmd.exe  commands to type are

netsh wlan show interfaces
pause
netsh wlan show drivers
pause
netsh wlan show profiles

If you run and compare both devices then we can look for anomalies.

Like an earlier WiFi driver (Rollback).

I've also been having this problem (at work which makes it even worse), and the only solution i've found is to keep my laptop plugged in - that seems to keep the wifi connector turned on and working.

I've read blog posts hat said it is a Windows power management issue, but i've turned everything on best performance, even on battery mode, and that hasn't fixed a thing. However, that could maybe fix your issue - all you have to do is right click the battery symbol on the bottom right of your desktop, click power options, click change plan settings on your default setting, click change advanced power settings, then click the drop down on Wireless Adapter settings - changing it to maximum performance might help you out.

I am not an HP employee, though, so take this as you will

Hello

I am not sure if I am replying in the correct place. Ewilkes you are totally correct.
My Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11 ac PCI on a brand new 2 weeks old HP Pavilion 15-cw0021ax Product 4qa10pa#apg constantly disconnects from any wireless network regardless of location
The only time it stays up and stable is when the laptop is connected to mains supply
I have tried updating the drivers but still no joy - current driver is 2024.0.3.101 dated 12th Sept 2018
I have turned off all power management on the driver itself so windows will not control and changed power settings on the laptop Windows 10 to prevent windows messing with the power
still no joy.
But if I am connected to mains supply the laptop works as it should perfectly.
I really need to find a solution.

@kiwiFrazer

This is the main issue with this model, this is why  people from HP  won't give you any soulutions.

What I did , I bought a wifi adapter for 8 euro and I can live with it.

But my laptop is still o guarantee so maybe I will send it back and buy a different brand , I suggest you to do the same ;>
