July 21, purchased HP 15-dy2073dx from BESTBUY . Installed & updated all software, ran speedtest.net. your HP max speed is ~250mb/s, not 5G as sold or advertised. Updated drivers to latest, still same speed.
My old 7 yr old DELL and my cell both show ~470 mb/s (i.e. real 5g). what is HP doing to fix this Sales issue. The Sales people sell what HP gives them its not a BESTBUY issue, but a HP design issue. I need wifi speed that i'm paying for and that my other devices use properly. Read other tickets that the adapter card 'might' be bad since the card is s/b to handle ~443 mb/s. That's a good acceptable speed.
Can I get a 5g card that works as Sold? or another manufacture card other than REALTEK since they don't work.
TIA Tom
