Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Everyone,

 

I am having trouble with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity for some time on my HP Envy J049-TX. After browsing the forums, the recommended solution I can find is to replace it with Intel Dual Band Wireless 7260 N. The problem is that I live in India and the card is not available on Amazon. Also, the product has been discontinued by Intel as mentioned on their website.

 

My question is :

Should I go for Intel 7260 N, or opt for latest wireless AC products from Intel (e.g. Intel AC 9560) given they are compatible with my device.

You can get the 7260 AC card you need on Ali Express.

The N card will work, but why get N, when you can have AC?

 

The AC9560 won't work at all.  Totally different design and the antenna wires needed for that card aren't the same as yours.
