Hello,
This is a known issue and we have been struggling for months to get it fixed. No solution from HP or Wireless adapter manufacturer. No option left for us except to mourn on the decision of buying this laptop 😞
Pathetic service from HP

Hello @hkvats2509
Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.
Let me check your basic system configuration before we dive deeper ... |
(1) Run msinfo32
- Select <System Summary>:
--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:
OS Name |
Version |
System Model |
System SKU ( equals HP product number (p/n) ) |
Processor |
BIOS Version/Date |
BaseBoard Product |
BaseBoard Version |
(2) Start Windows <Device Manager>
- Expand <Other devices> ? (Those entries are for hardware for which Windows has not loaded a suitable driver)
- Expand <Network adapters>
--->>> Send screenshot
(3) Please report your results

Hello @Ub6424
Multiple threads are already open and none of the solution works. The company must acknowledge the issue and replace the network card immediately without any charge since there is no solution for the problem.

if not done, instead of seeking support from HP, we must contact local authorities

Hello @hkvats2509
(1) Download and install from Microsoft Apps Store
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows
or
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows v1.8.2.0
(2) Run <HP Diagnostics for Windows>
--->>> Perform Component Tests to check <wireless adapter>
(3) Please report your results ( error messages, take screenshots )
( if serial number, device id, UUID, System Board CT Number is displayed, please blur )

The HP diagnostic found no issues everything passed as the wifi was on. After sleep when it's off and the adapter and driver are not present, the error show no network card installed. After shutting down and back on the adapter is back. Since MS took away power management tabs.... I'm not going to persue this any longer until I see there is a REAL fix from either HP, Realtek, or MS. I've spent way too much time to no solution.
