Hi:

You need this driver for that device...

This package contains drivers required to enable functionality of the Intel Wireless LAN adapter on supported notebooks with supported operating systems.

You're very welcome.

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to press the F12 key, or wireless button depending on the model, and see if that turns the wifi adapter on.

that doesn't seem to work for me. i still have one more device whose driver is not in my computer. i am thinking it might be the cause of the problem.

here is the hardware ID: NUSB3\ROOT_HUB30&VID_1033&PID_0194&REV_0004&SID_161C103C

please can you help me look up the driver for this device?

I believe you need this driver for that device...

This package provides the NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The driver enables USB 3.0 devices.

I don't know what to tell you about the wireless.

That is the driver you needed, and if there is an X on the network bar, the wifi radio is turned off somehow.

It is usually turned off and on by a Fn Key or button.

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Please do not post the serial number.

You may need a driver for the Fn keys or quick launch buttons.
