i have 15dy0013dx laptop where the exixting wifi card is facing less range issue even when just sitting besides the wifi router. tried different methods by fellow owners on youtube but didnt work for me. 

 

so i decided to see if i can get upgraded to a new wifi card with 5Ghz compatibility. got my self a Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

But now the problem is it works great on 5G but does not detect any 2.4G network. 

 

i check my wifi router for same ssid but 2.4 and 5g have different ssid. 

now i am out of option and asking if anyone can help me out here with this issue.
