I am using the HP Pavilion 15z-eh000 and on Windows 10, the Realtek driver is broken. I tried both the driver provided by HP and Windows Update and I am still getting speeds of up to 10 Mbits up and down, give or take. I also did something silly and installed the wireless driver on a different laptop with the same WiFi card with the same result. I eventually installed GNU/Linux on the thing and on a fairly recent kernel I was getting more than 100 Mbit down and around 50 Mbit up, so this seems like an issue with the driver for Windows. I can also confirm that this problem is not HP specific, as my friend's girlfriend is having the same speeds on a Lenovo laptop with the exact same WiFi card.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue: Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant: (do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating)
To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.
- To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon
.
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
And, also run BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hi,
first of all - the Realtek RTL8822CE has a really bad driver!
Update to the WHQL-Driver Version 20.11.2 (Microsoft tested) of AMD Radeon
Then try to use the latest RTL8822CE-Driver with Version 2024.0.10.220. Comes via Windows Update.
If it crashes you have to go to Version 2024.0.10.210 - like I have to do.
Try it and write your experience.
Regards
Daniel

Hi out there,
there is a new Realtek RTL8822CE driver -> Version 2024.0.10.221 WHQL.
You can find it here:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112501-113000/sp112619.exe
And you have to deactivate "Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter", if you have poor Wifi performance or Ping losses.
Works perfect till two days.
Regards
Daniel
