Replace Realtek RTL8723DE to a 5 ghz card

I want to replace present wifi 2.4 ghz card with a 5 ghz card.
Need advise if this is possible and if so which 5 ghz is compatible.

Yes, you can upgrade to this card only...

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

 

You can buy one new from the HP parts store...14.03 Euros.

The card will have the same throughput as the 8723 on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz band it will have a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS with an AC router.
