Replace WIFI card (15BS015DX)

I want to replace the AC8723DE by a combo in a 15BS015DX. I read a similar thread "Replace Wifi Card (HP 15-bs 114 ng)" and there they advised "For more details, refer to the service and maintenance guide: . It's the same sevice and maintenance guide I got when i folowed the support page. (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf). There I find for Wlan:

I installed the latest driver and it supports the AC9461.

The problem is simple: it's not recognised... So I wonder if I have a bad Wlan module or is it not supported?

Hi:

The Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 9461 is a unique wifi card that only works with certain processors.

It is what is known as a CRF (Companion RF) card.

In short, it is not a 'complete' standalone wifi card and requires something in the processor to allow it to work.

That card will only work in the specific models that it came with.

You can upgrade to this dual band AC wifi card which works with one antenna cable that is not listed in the service manual...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express.

The card has the same throughput as the RTL8723DE card on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router, it has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS.

It also has the same performance specs as the AC-9461.
