Hi:
You won't be able to upgrade the Wi-Fi adapter unless your notebook has two antenna wires connected to the single band Wi-Fi adapter.
Open up your notebook and inspect it to see how many antenna wires are connected to the Wi-Fi card.
Below is the link to the service manual:
If it has two antenna wires connected to the Wi-Fi adapter, you should be able to upgrade to either one of these model Wi-Fi adapters:
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part #724935-001
You could even opt for a card like this one which is a modified HMC form factor card with a Wi-Fi 6E chip.
