Can I replace my stock laptop network card ( Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165) which has 1x1 antenna with a new network card (Intel Wireless-AC 9260) which has 2x2 antenna?

And will there be a whitelist issue?

How many antennas are there in my laptop? (if anyone knows, I don't want to open my laptop up just yet)

Hi:

If your notebook has the 3165, then it has two antenna cables connected to the card.

Your notebook should not have a BIOS whitelist.

This discussion indicates that the Intel Wireless-AC 9260 will work in the 15-ak### model series...
