Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wanted to upgrade OS on HP 15-r071sw from windows 8.1 to windows 10. But in Win 10 the Wi-Fi network is malfunctioning. After some research I found out it might be the Ralink RT3290 causing this problem. What would be the replacement wi-fi card that would work under win10 OS, knowing that there is only 1 antena connected to the RT3290?

Thanks,

Michael!

Hi:

You can replace the RT3290 with this model where the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will work with only one antenna wire:

Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11bgn 1×1 + BT 4 LE Combo Adapter   HP part # 753077-001

It's not an upgrade, but it should work fine on W10.

Thank You Paul,

I'll try that.
