The wireless-N 1000 adapter unexpectedly stopped working giving a code 10. I would like to know if there are any replacements for my laptop still available.

Hi:

 

Unfortunately there isn't.

 

Since your notebook has a BIOS whitelist that prevents the installation of any other wifi card than the one that came with your notebook, what I suggest you do is to remove the card, get the HP part number off the 'Replace with HP Spare' label on the wifi card, and see if you can get a used but tested and working replacement on eBay.

 

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

 

Find a listing where they show an actual picture of the wifi card for sale with that part number on the label.

 

Or you can purchase a USB wifi adapter.
