OMEN X by HP - 17-ap020nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptops network card is not keeping up with the times and I'd like to replace it.  I have a HP Omen model #17-ap020nr. I wanted to ask the community if it is built in, or can it be swapped out for a newer card?  If it can be swapped is there a decent video i can watch on my phone that shows me how to get to and replace the card?

While it is not listed as a supported Wi-Fi card in the service manual, I can't think of any reason why this model card wouldn't work:

OMEN X by HP 17 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005.

The service manual has the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.

There is also this service teardown video.

The Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure starts at minute 32:03.

The video is missing the step to remove the two antenna wires.

It seems like a great deal of disassembly is required to replace the Wi-Fi card.
