MY HP Elitebook has a sim card slot but when i insert the sim card it does not read anywhere ,kindly help

Every HP Elitebook has a SIM card slot.

 

If the SIM card doesn't do anything, then your Elitebook does not have the optional and expensive WWAN adapter that is required to connect to the cellular network.  Hardly any of the Elitebooks come with at option.


All the SIM card does is to authorize you to use your carrier's cellular service.
