Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Win10 pro 64bit, ho gia' aggiornato driver scheda wifi, ma senza esito positivo

Tutti i test diagnostici HP sembrano non rilevare l'anomalia

Come fare per ripristinare il normale funzionamento?

------------------------------------------------------------

I have problems with the wifi connection of the notebook,  it seems that if I start the download of a large file, the connection works correctly for 3-4 seconds then stops for about 1 second and resumes

During the transmission / reception phase the speed reaches 30-40 Mbit / sec

During the stop phase the data exchange speed drops to zero

Win10 pro 64bit, I have already updated wifi card driver, but without success

All the HP diagnostic tests seem not to detect the anomaly

How can I restore normal operation?

@amorosik

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the wireless connection on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Does this happen only when you download any file?

Are you facing any issues browsing?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Powercycle the network:

1. Shut down your notebook.

2. Unplug the power to your router.

3. Unplug the power to your modem.

4. Wait at least 45 seconds.

5. Plug in the modem, and wait for it to come back online.

6. Plug in the router, and wait for it to come back online.

7. Turn on your notebook, and test your connection.

Disable the Power Off option for the adapter:

1. Open Device Manager. (Win Key+R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)

2. Expand the Network adapters.

3. Right click on the Ethernet/Wireless Adapter and click Properties.

4. Click the Power Management tab.

5. Remove the check mark beside Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

6. Click OK.

7. Test.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:

1. Go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.

2. Right click on the command prompt icon and chose Run as administrator.

3. In the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without quotes, and press enter.

4. Restart your PC and test.

It may also help to reset the winsock catalogue:

1. Go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.

2. Right click on the command prompt icon and chose Run as administrator.

3. In the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without quotes, and press enter.

4. Restart your PC and test.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thank you very much for the advice
I tried the 4 points indicated, but unfortunately the problem persists

I also tried booting from the operating system on a USB key, and therefore from a newly installed virgin system, to exclude it could be some program installed on the notebook that compromised the operation of the wifi network card

And the problem persist

And therefore it is highly probable that it is a hardware defect or the driver of the wifi network card is faulty

@amorosik

It looks like a hardware issue. I recommend you contact support and check the available service options for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Cheers!
